I know I've been quiet for a bit. I'm moving for a new job and drastically paring down my library and most of my other stuff.

Some of my choices are based on a philosophy that I'm tired of being emotionally weighed down by crap. And some are just the result of not wanting to carry more heavy things.

So LKH is going to the used book shop to disappoint other people. Goodbye to the better, more interesting books of her early reign. I don't need her any more.

Thank you for allowing me to vent as I watched characters I liked be destroyed. I do feel better.

Time to move on to wondering what will happen in the next Song of Ice and Fire book or the next Green Rider book. Time to reread all of my Terry Pratchett books and Connie Willis books because they're worth keeping no matter how heavy they are.

Time to enjoy the guilty pleasure that is the Jem comic book from IDW. (Seriously, if you're an '80s kid, it's worth a look).

I hope you're all on track to brighter, happier literary times.

Dude, I love the Jem comic. Rio is likable in this version, Blaze's transgenderism is handled well and I like the idea of Raya being a member of the Stingers first before she will eventually join the Holograms.
