am I just being weird and nitpicky, or are "whetted" and "wetted" incorrect? I thought "w(h)et" was both past and present tense.

Off the top of my head, I have to think about it. *L* My brain is weeping from having to read so much crap and trying to make sense of it.

Frankly, I'm impressed she used the right verb. Let's work on getting the verb right, and then how to work with the tenses. We don't want to overload her brain. (Oh wait. We do! *eg*)
