*dreamy-eyed look* I met Pratchett last year. He laughed at my drawing. I TOUCHED. HIS HAND.

He is my hero. I discovered him right as I was beginning my disassociation from LKH, and he filled the void that her books left and more. If my relationships with authors were described in romantic terms, LKH was a one-night stand and Pratchett is a lifelong marriage.
