Heh. He's not offish at all, really; he's great with fans. I've never met him myself, but my friends in Philly saw him at a covention and he very happily gave my best friend at shout-out (as a surprise) on her birthday on request (by the friends who were in on the surprise).

However, I can imagine that in any profession, meeting another person who does the same job, yet does it in the most unprofessional manner possible, can get one's back up.
