Title: "Not in the mood"

Somebody had to do it. LKH in blockquote (ha! Switching tactics!), I'm the ranting in between.

OMG. She crazy. Biglots. )

If this book doesn't spell the end of her career, I will be surprised. Incubus Dreams drove off a good portion of the long-time fans, and I don't believe the rabid fangirls have the staying power to support the porny turn of it all. There's the train-wreck factor to consider, and the neurotic completist people that want the whole set, but...no, I think most of the main fan base will leave and turn to Kim Harrison, Kelly Armstrong, L.A. Banks, Poppy Z. Brite (ps, dear Borders, Poppy Z. Brite doesn't belong in the Z section, it goes with the Bs.) Jim Butcher...

Ah, I love the snarkage!

New to the community (obviously, heh), and just thought I'd say hello. ^_^ It's such a *relief* to come across a community where one can discuss the downward spiral of LKH's writing without fangirl whining (or Netspeak. ::smirk:: ). I've just been sort of cruising the previous posts here, and you guys always discuss valid, *intelligent* issues with the "writing" (yes, I use that term loosely...), it's not *just* a snark-fest aimed at LKH herself.

Although the snarkage *is* absolutely top-notch. It's just...intelligent snarkage. ;)

Anyway, you get my drift, this community is a haven for the disillusioned LKH fan!

Quick intro, and brief ID bitching... )

Anyway, good to be here! All of you kick ass, I'm looking forward to contributing to the snarkage. ^_^
