I don't think JC looses his spine at all. I think he's the master manipulator! Afterall, he's gotten all he's wanted from Anita hasn't he? JC basically pimps out the once strong Anita to any passerby doesn't he? The only thing he's missing is the "ok" from her to let him have sex with Asher and considering all that he's made her do in terms of sex then it's a safe bet that he's just biding his time all nice and patient like. He's immortal and he's got all the time in the world... Damn, and I used to like JC. *cries*
