I love Jim Butcher -- Thomas is one of my fave characters ever. He's pretty, sensual, but also funny and a great fighter. And he loves his girlfriend, rowr!
I would disagree that Harry's misogynistic. He may have a touch of it, such as his blase response when he sees a man cut to ribbons, compared to his anger when a woman is. But if he were genuinely misogynistic, he'd never go on monster-destroying missions with Murphy or Susan, nor would be be attracted to either strong, capable, monster-butt-kicking woman.
