The whole thing just sounds so very wrong. Thank you for reading this book so that I do not have to; I keep hoping she will return to writing fun books like she did in the beginning - but this one sounds like it might be the worst yet.

I do not understand why the various were groups in the greater St. Louis area are not up in arms and forming an army to destroy Anita and company. She is the biggest threat to them in the world. How many of their leaders has she raped/used/threatened now? How can any of them feel at all safe? They turn to Anita for protection, but she is by far the largest threat to them. By sexually feeding her, it is like they are paying protection money to the Mafia to be protected from the Mafia.

And why haven't the Feds done anything about their "Marshall"? They cannot possibly be this clueless. They have to know that she is sleeping with every well endowed supernatural male in the entire St. Louis metro area. Why hasn't she been stripped of her Federal police powers?

There is just so much going on in these books that makes absolutely no sense at all.

Yuck.
