When I first started reading the books, they weren't that bad. The main character was flawed, but it was in a good way. As real people have flaws.

Then things just started to take a turn for the rather uncomfortable. And it keeps getting worse. It makes me both sad and scared that when people read these books they don't see the problem. That they think it's alright for someone to treat another person the way Anita treats her boys.
