In LKH's world there is no rape, just rough sex, and if you don't like it you're a prude.

Seriously, Anita is always being forced to have sex when she doesn't really want to (though it's probably just a way for her to have sex without admitting she likes it)and she's basically mind-raped peole with the ardeur and finds nothing wrong with it.
