No. Augustine provoked Anita enough to raise the ardeur because he was kind of addicted to it after a spate in Belle-Morte's court yonks ago, so he caused it to rise and then agreed to be fed on and have sex with JC again and screw Anita at the same time (he also wanted to get into JC's pants again for some reason).
