Why does she need to even describe all this sex? If she just cut it down to, "Jason and I went to bed, to chase away the bad memories" and replaced the mammoth sex scenes with plot, no one would be bothered by the amount of bonking Anita does to feed the ardeur.
It's the immense sex scenes, and the angsting about it, that causes us to hate it. It takes up page space for no reason. If Anita treated it like it was business, spent two lines disappearing into another room for emergency sexxors, and came back and got on with actual plot - would anyone mind?
