I hate to self pimp, but hey, might as well) Ugh, there's nothing worse than an author desperately trying to get you to sympathize with a character who is dead wrong. And these days, no one's wronger than Anita Blake. Her selfishness and psychopathic tendencies are astounding. Besides, is there any build up to Asher getting tired of Anita's crap or is LKH just trying to whittle down the absurd number of male models following Anita around?

Oh, Raina went to hell for sure and she probably married Satan when she got there. That was one seriously evil bitch, and that's saying something in this series. But it's for that reason that I don't particularly miss her. She creeped me out.
