I agree! Even swans, rats, and hyenas are at least on-screen, but we haven't seen hide nor...uh, scale...of the weresnakes and nagas ever since the books they respectively turned up in, or the lamia for that matter. I just can't stand how she introduces things like fae, merfolk, and various shifter species that we NEVER SEE AGAIN OR LEARN ABOUT and it usually does seem to be, at least with the shifters, because they just aren't hot to her.


(I'd love to have a big snake myself, btw, but I could never handle the feeding aspect, for obvious reasons DX )
