Perfection is an unattainable goal. Perfectionism is, sadly, completely attainable and a lot of people suffer from it.

What's not unattainable is competence. Doing something well enough. LKH can't write competently any longer. She's not even up to average hack level at this point.

I'm rather picky about my environment when I write, but LKH is at another level. I'm not fond of the idea that writers should be able to write under any and all circumstances, but she can't write on a Mac? Eesh. Also, she's on a fourth iPhone? How much money does this woman burn through?
