title: "Weird, but true"
author: LKH (her words in boldface)

I'm only attacking the second paragraph, because I don't know even know where to start with the first.

See, even monster hunting with Edward isn't as fun as it used to be because we all have responsibilites and people we care about.

Uh... how would we know? (Aside from the fact that EDWARD DOESN'T EXIST, and all those other obvious arguments.) When was the last time we saw Edward? No, LKH, you know why monster hunting with Edward isn't fun anymore? Because you stripped away all the coolness of the character, and you won't let him hunt the most horrible monster you've made: Anita.

I cry when [my imaginary friends] hurt. I worry over their personal lives. I grieve when they loose someone. I cannot imagine actually loosing one of them at this point. I think it would break my heart.

How can you grieve when they "loose" someone? Even if you forgive her habitual typo, when was the last time someone LOST anyone? Honestly? To digress, the cast is sorta like the later levels of the SW-Lego game: you're trying to move around, but you've collected too many people so there are too damn many people in your way. YOU CAN'T MOVE.

I guess one point is accurate though. Since Anita is eternally "tight", I guess LKH really "cannot imagine actually loosing one of them at this point". It's a self-fulfilling typo!

I've never felt real gagging while reading something, no matter how bad it is. But just now, honest to God, my throat constricted as I read her blog entry.

This:
"I can't stop being who I am just because I love them, Anita. What do you need? It must be bad for you to call me, and be this worried.

...is probably the saddest thing I've read in a while. What LKH doesn't realize is that it's not her characters that speak to her, but her that's speaking through them. And what she has to say, very few people care about. Why is AB so popular? Because sex, no matter how badly written, sells. Especially if you package it under another name, so people who are afraid to buy real erotica can read it too.
And Anita's guilt, advice and mental marathons? Is LKH's way of convincing herself that she didn't sell out. There's no other explanation for the inner conflict. LKH's or Anita's.

This morning, Edward came up in a conversation. The name, not the character. And it got me craving an AB book. So I started browsing the old books, but I couldn't finish a chapter. Because whenever I read Anita, I overanalyze anything she says, thinks or does...

Does anyone know if there's good AB fanfiction out there? I need it.

I'll always tote Nocturne Eternal (http://www.members.tripod.com/nocturne-eternal/site_map__text_links_only.htm) for good Nathaniel fic. Trace is a lovely, lovely woman and I wish she'd get back to writing stuff.

There are some fanfics from Jepad aka Blakesblog on http://www.cipher-wotr.com/. She wrote an alternative ID and stories about Anita as Borg queen.

I hope this helps.

I know, I've read those. And browse through the site when I'm feeling mighty pissed off at Anita. Thanks!
