Is this true?

For those who have bravely read "Bullet" - is it true that JC and Asher have finally been allowed to sleep with each other, and that Micah and Nathaniel have suddenly become lovers out of the blue? I came across these rather astonishing claims on the Amazon forums. It seems bizarre that LKH has done a complete 180 on Anita's refusal to allow "her" men to sleep with other people and got characters getting together all of a sudden who never even had interest in each other previously. In one of the earlier books, maybe Harlequin, it was suggested that Asher had interest in Nathaniel, but Micah? I know he does whatever Anita wants, but what?

Micah and Nathaniel aren't entirely out of the blue. It was hinted at in Flirt that they were comfortable interacting with each other in the bedroom in Flirt, but not quite so comfortable about public displays of affection. And the think you gotta keep in mind is that Bullet takes place a full year after Flirt, so there's an awful lot that happens "off stage."

The other part that sticks in my brain and won't come out is later during one of the orgy scenes, Anita's watching Jean-Claude with one of the other women and she thinks that yes, she'd love to see the men do that with other men. Wow, really? Surely Asher and JC are facepalming because they could have demonstrated this eight books ago.

Ugh, Anita is such an...unblessed toadstool. I mean JC and Asher have had this long history (not too mention poor Julianna) and it's only okay if she gets off on it?

HATE!

IDK, I think I've sort of tuned out by now because the same stuff has been happening for so many books. I mean, Anita declared that guys making out with each other flat out does it for her is hot for her and made a bad comparison that maybe she likes this the same way straight guys like watching two women kiss, I think that's in Danse Macabre. It could have been repeated since, but JFC THAT WAS SIX BOOKS AGO.

The other thing is, that Anita is the sole POV character in these books, so if she didn't see it, then it didn't happen. This is why I laugh bitterly at the people who want an Edward book, or a book about JC and Asher from back in the day. It's never going to happen! So I'm choosing to believe that JC and Asher have been St Louis' IT couple ever since Asher moved back and they're totally messing with Anita's head with all this drama just to keep her off kilter and she doesn't figure out that she's not welcome to join them.

I totally love this idea.
