In light of this recent post to anita_blake_fan, I have a suggestion.

I think that we should draft a response to the perpetual "why are y'all always complaining"/"if you hate them so much why do you still read the books"/"how can you call yourself a fan if you hate the books" question.

And the next time someone makes a post like that, we should all respond with the form-letter response. Individually. :P

Heh. That's pretty good! Though I'm convinced that "were-unicorn" can be worked in somewhere... :)

But that is a very good response. It doesn't quite work for Merry fans, but I think the Merry fan response would be similar. Something like:

We still read them because it was such a good idea and it would still be a good idea if she went back to the plot.
