Some words are carved out of air, others from fire, some drowned you in watery weeping, & others feel carved of flesh, like a blood sacrifice to the muse.

There is so much wrong with that alleged sentence, I don't even know where to start.

.....ok, wait, I _do_ know where to start.

"some drowned you in watery weeping"

So.... we, the readers, have been drowned? That IS the past tense. Perhaps she meant to say "drown" instead?

I just keep hearing the comedian, Jim Gaffigan's voice in my head, going "This water's more watery than water." Every time I look at that part of the sentence. Every time.
