Pure Randomness

Just by chance, I went to the library today.
There were a lot of the Anita Blake books on the shelves, so I picked up Incubis Dreams.
Now, when I pick up a book... I have a habi of flicking to a random page.
So I did.
Several times.
Every single time it was a sex scene.
I read them out to my mate.
We were wetting ourselves laughing.
The description was terible...
The language use was worse...
And Nathanial should never have been described in that way!

"The matress made a meaty sound as his claws ripped through it"

How does a metal sprung matress full of sponge and fluff make a meaty sound?

(For reference, it was Anita, Jason and Nathanial in the bed, where every sentence had at least thirty "almost's" in it.)

Ye Gods!

Now I know why I never read anything after book eight... at least, not in its entirety, and definately not seriously!

lol....yeah. I've decided that if I read anymore books put out by her after Cerulean Sins, it'll be through the library or borrowing a friend's book

I always thought that scene was very... screwed up I guess would be the nice way to say it. The guys going furry just borders WAY too close to beastiality for me.

I did that at my old workplace. My coworker and I counted twelve times in a row that we opened the book to find a sex scene - the only break came when we opened it to the beginning of a chapter.
