30 pages for the day in three sessions of 12, 13, & 5. Still not completely out of this section of plot. Was hoping to finish before bed, but I give, need dinner, but the muse & I have played happily today. I still got to have lunch with my husband, Jon, and went to MMA class. Also, Dancing, the new Anita Blake e-special came out today! Thanks for all the great comments, everyone! Glad you are all enjoying it!

You can order Dancing from Amazon or Barnes & Noble

To top the day off I was in Jennie Breeden’s comic, The Devil’s Panties

This has been a wildly productive & truly awesome day!

If LKH is supposed to be the one in the pirate hat, I guess the joke is "LKH runs DragonCon and so if she likes you you get a room and an audience" but if that's the punchline, it's neither funny nor delivered well.

The Devil's Panties is basically incomprehensible unless you're the artist or a close friend, as far as I can tell.

Yeah, somewhere around the time when the artist got all "Omg I met LKH!" years ago, the comic stopped being funny or interesting. It used to be a little cute at first, but it's gotten about as self-referential and self-absorbed as LKH herself, and just like LKH, it vastly underestimates others' interest in (or the importance of) its obscure subject matter.

I never got the kilt-blowing thing. I'm imagining attending a kilt-blowing event and just standing there going "...okay...is that it? Am I supposed to cheer now, or just...wander away awkwardly now that it's over?"
