No offense who people who enjoy guns as a hobby, but I think her flaunting/fetishization (is that a word? oh well) of it is totally gross. It's not like these are vintage rifles or what have you, which I could kind of understand the appeal as a historian. You're so super cool~ because you like sexy violence and blowing holes in things - good job!

Because everyone has a date night and it's always Saturday? Her date sounds utterly atrocious to me, too.

It cracks me up whenever I see a picture of Jon her husband Jon to remember that she thinks every woman and many men must be sexually attracted to Jon because he has long hair. Um yeah... I'll pass.

He appears to have braided it so tightly that from the front it appears to be short, but is not short, but is in fact long and flowing down his back only in a tight braid that only enhances the masculine, yet feminine, but not girly or anything because that would be gay, dorkishness of his face.

Like, that's what I get out of the "how was your date night" bit---firstly that damn aren't they so awesome and hardcore they have dates at the range SO TOUGH, and secondly oooh how original and unique, like no other couples do things together centered around shared interests, they just all have movies and flowers and whatever and only LKH and Jon her husband Jon are so wild and original.

I know that seems reaching a bit from one phrase, but as much as I've seen of her brand of smugness, it just sounds that way from her even if it might not from someone else.

No, that's exactly what I got from this too. "How was your date night?" reads to me as "Our date night was superior to yours in every way, if you even had one, which you probably didn't because your relationship isn't as awesome as ours."

I'm not impressed. When my parents were courting they used to go shooting rats at the town dump. And my mommy was a heck of a shot. She could hit a double A battery at 100 yards. That was one of the things daddy liked about her. BTW this is the same woman who never wore anything but a dress, had her degree in Home Ec and who I never remember seeing without lipstick. She would have blown LaLa's limited mind.

Well, LKH always wears lipstick, so that would be okay with her. If it were exactly the same color and amount and probably brand of lipstick that LKH wears. The Home Ec thing though? Would fry her brain.

Mommy was more about pink or mauve rather than the dark reds that LaLa wears. And she was probably at least 1,000 times tougher than LaLa or her avatar.

How did MY date night go LKH? Well hey I'm glad you asked, because I don't usually get to have date nights, but last week, I had one. The date looked promising, with passionate kisses and butt-squeezing ahead of the actual date night. but in the 24 hours between that time of delicious promise and date making, my date slept with his ex and decided to spurn me on her instructions. I mean, the date was still on, he'd just decided unilaterally that it wasn't a FWB thing any more without telling me first. Thanks for caring LKH!

No date night this weekend and it was my birfday. I was visiting my sick daddy at his rehab/nursing home, staying at his house and researching what to do when he gets out. Along with watching lots of Modern Family re-runs. I've never seen the show on whatever network, but USA seems to be either showing it or L & O: SVU at any given time.
