This is worse than the cheesy photoshopped Mills&Boon covers. The publishers have apparently just given up entirely.

One can only hope that the author will soon follow.

Or at least realize that she's actually been writing Paranormal Romance Soap Opera instead of Super-Dark Action-Packed Urban Fantasy for the past ten years or so.
