A letter, which most of you can probably disregard.

First, a disclaimer: These are the words and wisdom of only this mule, and this mule is NOT the community mod or anything. However, free speech and all, so here's my two cents. Don't spend it all in one place, mmkay? ;)

Dear community spy-

You have no control over this community, just as we have no control over your forums. This community and those forums are separate sites, run by separate people and maintained for separate though superficially similar reasons, and as such they should be treated as separate entities. If you wish to police what goes on in this community, then to be fair you must allow us to do likewise on your forums. Since I highly doubt you will be asking us what your people can and cannot post about us (and "us" is defined as "people who are displeased with LKH's writing for one reason or another") then please, do NOT tell people in this community what they may or may not post about you.

Furthermore, the post(s) which you seem to be offended by are not specifically insulting or derogatory...they are, in fact, NO MORE NOR LESS than a report of TRUTH. If you don't want people knowing what you are doing or saying, then maybe you shouldn't...yanno...DO OR SAY IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Also, as DWG pointed out, LKH herself said that if her fans (and yes, that is what we are, FANS, so get over it. We are not "haters," we are not "trolls," we are people who have bought and read the books and in doing so brought LKH to the status she now holds, and our oppinions AS FANS (or indeed as people in general) are as valid as anyone else's!) want to vent or rant or express displeasure about the books, to do so somewhere else. Well, Spyperson, this IS the somewhere else.

Lastly, we are breaking no rules, on your forums or otherwise. There is no rule, here or there, stating that one cannot share what is said to him or her. If someone chooses to repost something someone else sent to them, or said to them, or said in ANY public or semi-public forum, that is their right. It makes you and the forum moderator or moderators who are trying to police what is and is not posted on this UNRELATED COMMUNITY look like a bunch of crazy internet stalker people. You have really tarnished whatever remained of your positive reputation by being so childish.

No love,
K. Lawrence

You want something even creepier? Mr. Hairless groin, currently not wearing much, has our young hero sit in his lap and 'meditate'...
The quote from the book, I KID YOU NOT:
"Let us wash the sweat from our limbs," He said when they had finished.
Did I mention the pretty female elves with no body hair are dancing around naked?
And the love story, oh lordy...

He wasn't. He was fifteen when he started it, but that's still no excuse for plagarism and bad writing...and the sequel was written when he was around twenty..
