I was raised around guns. And though they WILL work when wet...SO BAD FOR THEM. Did you know TOUCHING a gun can cause it to rust horribly? The moisture inherent in your fingers can eat right into the barrel! D:
As I said to Dracolicious:
I saw a really cool demonstration about the durability of the AK-47. They buried it in sand...threw it into a mud puddle...stuck it underwater...then RAN IT OVER WITH A JEEP...and it worked just fine.
However, that poor, poor gun. D: It was not having a good day!
Also...when does Anita ever do any gun maitenance?! Come to think of it, I don't recall her ever having to oil or clean them, or deal with rust (which can be caused by simply handling them).
I mean, if LKH is gonna gripe about how OMG REALIZTIK her gun stuff is, she could...yanno...try to be REALISTIC once in a while. :P
OH GOD, BAD THOUGHT: gun oil used as lube. PLEASE NO.
