Laurell in bold, me in normalcy.
edit: Here's that link, too, http://blog.laurellkhamilton.org/ sorry about that!
I would just like to say that in the couple of weeks since I joined this community, this is probably the most coherent post I've seen her make yet. It almost gives me hope for the future... almost. I also liked the title of that blog entry, "Still sick, but questions answered" I thought of it as very nearly a comment on her state of mental health.
My hope, dare I call it a plan, is to look on the forum for comments and questions from you guys. Jon can help me if I get lost in technology land.
Please DO dare to call it a plan, Laurell. It would be nice as heck to know that you're planning SOMETHING, even if it obviously ain't the books.
I've even sent an e-mail with no help from anyone, that actually got to it's destination. Wow. I know my fear of technology seems silly to most of you computer savvy people, but phobias are like that; they don't have to make sense.
Look, when your phobias make no sense, that's when it's time to get a therapist.... for this issue and SO MANY OTHERS.
I think I blogged about the fact that I did kill someone in THE HARLEQUIN. Yeah, another emotional screw over for my characters.
Right. Because EVERY SINGLE ONE of them being raped and tortured in their back stories wasn't at all avoidable.
Maybe; who knows what one's subconscious is up to these days. I'm pretty sure why I don't like killing people off in the books. It's probably something to do with that whole mother dying when I was six thing. Probably.
Again, THERAPY. Oh wait; even in therapy you have to WANT to be helped, don't you?
