Anita Question

We all know how bitchy and insecure Anita gets when a woman is pretty/sexy, especally if she's attached to a man. But what if the woman wasn't? Let's say she was homely, flat-chested, had ruddy skin, mousy brown hair, dressed modestly and had a decent personality. (Bonus points if she was a dating a handsome guy.)
Part of the reason is that I have a future villain in an urban fantasy comic I've been working on (and have pages for) that is heavily based off of Anita. She's the Avatar of Envy and also has a desire to have other people envy her. This leads her to collect pretty boys (through mind warping) to serve as her yes-men servants to constantly validate and worship her. (And rub it in the faces of women who are pretty.) And one of her past men that she wanted was already married to a woman like that.
