I am not currently a Librarian, yet ironically, I am working on my Masters of Library Science. I spend alot of time in the library, especially considering what my Bachelor's is in. I, too, have seen this scene before. They forgot me asking where is the logic in only giving someone two weeks to read a thousand page book.
