I think you're right. I know this has been mentioned eleventy billion times--but just imagine if Anita was Andrew Blake, and maybe Richard was Rachel, and Jean-Claude was Claudette. Can you imagine the backlash that LKH would get?
I don't see a difference. Anita is abusive to her men. Somebody needs to end her.
