I know some squirrels can fly, but OMGWTF? Last time I checked, squirrels were not birds. And I, like our beloved heroine, hath a biology degree (though, unlike her, I don't trot it out at every opportunity unless it involves the amusing anecdotes of Things That Don't Die, which is usually reserved for dinner conversation). You'd think that since she is such a pervy bird fancier an avid birdwatcher, she'd just wait a few hours, or days, until the birds are frolicking in the winter wonderland. Or like I said, go out looking for them. I don't think the Diety is going to get upset because you didn't see a bird on JANUARY 1 OMG and then smite you down.
