Thank you for the info, I figured as much but wasn't positive! I'd heard that there was a need for people who spoke Arabic, but translation makes the most sense. It struck me as completely absurd that they'd let a loose cannon like Olaf anywhere near sensitive information. I chalk the discrepancy up to an idea of LKH's that on the surface wasn't too bad, but clearly required just a tad more research than she committed to.
