Shapeshifter or Vampire Throwdown

Author A.J. Hampton over at the Shapeshifter Romance blog has asked the question, "What would happen if some of our favorite heroes and heroines threw down?"  He offers some interesting matchups including Micah vs Richard which made me snicker as he has them and LKH pegged..

So which LKH character throw downs would you like to see happen and what would be the outcome. Or what matchups against similar characters in other series would work for you.

They said Michael Corvin from Underworld would beat Dracula. If that's not made of fail, I don't know what is.

As a side note, I forgot that Micah even had a last name.

Well, someone did point out in the comments, that most people forget how supremely awesome Dracula was before Hollywood/Romance writers got their hands on him.

So just consider it to be Movie!Dracula vs Corvin.

Aww hell. And I had just forgotten about Oldman!Dracula too. Sure he was a good angsty vampire, but he just wasn't... Dracula. I practically grew up with book!Dracula.

And it would be messy, and you'd be scared by the results. Hollywood really wussified him -- he was so full of awesome in the original novel, shapeshifting and seducing English roses and plotting to conquer England (and via them, probably the world).

Hell, he's not even IN most of the novel and that makes him even cooler.

So yeah, he'd beat down any of those Hollywood wusses.

I can't quite remember -- has Micah ever successfully fought ANYBODY? Or does he just cower behind Anita all the time while she does her magic touches to kill/cure people?

I'll give Oldman!Dracula credit for at least trying to address the whole "Dude is really a monster, but chicks dig him" thing. He really hammed it up with the sad face...and then got all beastial and tore a throat out. Though, when it comes to movie versions, I like Christopher Lee's blood thristy asshole rendition. Oldman's is just has a kick-ass wardrobe.

I think the one "fight" he got in was that preternatural slap fest with JC when he slit his throat. Other than that, he stays in the trenches with the pard, since nearly every other shifter has the pard (rightfully)pegged as weak.

So basically he's the toughest of a bunch of wusses, because Anita can't cope with men who have any physical or mental strength.

In other words, it would take about five minutes max for Richard-who-fought-his-way-to-the-top to hog-tie Micah and shave his head.
