Are you sure you're not confusing Narcissus with some other character? I don't recall the 'keeping in a box' thing at all; Chimera wanted to take over local groups, but I think the only ones he successfully dominated were those he'd brought to town with him.
And I seem to recall that Narcissus got pregnant by himself. Didn't we have a discussion recently about how that's not how intersex/hermaphroditic people's genitals actually work?
