That bothered me SO much, because it really skewed the timeline in my head. There's no way it's been three years, so I'm guessing this is another of those "I'll change it in the paperback version" situations. Either that, or we'll be treated to a whole speech on how it's possible that it's been three years, when all textual evidence suggests that it is not.
Gil would've found way more evidence at that crime scene, for sure. Instead of just standing around and stating the obvious. And he still would have had time for making bad puns and gazing thoughtfully at his bug collection.
That corset is AMAZING!!! I wish I had some sort of reason for one. I mean, I could always just fill it up with my makeup brushes and stuff, but that's nowhere near as badass. It's even pretty!
