First thing that came into my mind when I read this: Lara Croft. Anita is becoming a cheap imitation of Lara Croft (LC has, at least, stylish boots... for an Archaeologist). Next book, she'll pull a grenade launcher out of her tiny backpack. And flares. O__o Not that she ever uses all those guns anyways...
