I think LKH is stuck in some juenile "the rules of polite society don't apply to me because I'm a rebel and thus I will treat everyone around me like they're plebes" and she's using Anita to let it all out. I got to be honest, I went through that phase too SOMETIME DURING MY SOPHOMORE-JUNIOR YEAR OF FUCKING HIGH SCHOOL.
I mean anime with pretty boys with long hair and ~dark and emo~ pasts. She'd probably like Kanda from D.Gray Man.
Hell, I wouldn't even begrudge her the attraction to pretty man (I like myself some emo anime every once in a while), I'm just pissed that she can't inject a fricking plot too. I could stomach the soliloquies about how ~pretty and unusual looking and deep and romantic~ these guys are if there was a plot.
Also, Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. Short, long blond hair, strange-colored eyes very muscular. LKH would probably love him. Hell the author of that story managed to write her character's unusual looks into the plot. Also, despite his looks and skills, people still find his obnoxious characteristics obnoxious.
