Long hair is ok with me. It's the hair longer than butt that's not ok. Seriously, have you EVER saw a man with hairs this long ? Except the ones with dread-lock, of cours. I pride myself to have good general taste, and can make a difference between a good bishounen, see fruit basket, not all the same, but not too girly, and for the bad... all those guys with sooooooo loooong leg, very thin hips and legs, larges chests and no abs. it's so bad ! Eurk !
The Hamilton's Ideal tend toward Justin Brieber and the leader of Tokyo Hotel bastarded with Rahan or Conan in the fake gothic-emo style, for what I see. I pretty much like Rahan, but not the other two, nor Conan.
Edward was one I liked. Not overly descripted, withouth weird colors, sort of like Ranger, in the plum series, but a little less powerfull in the muscle departement. Hamilton HAVE to give him to Jim Butcher. I'm sure he can make somthing with him. Maybe in cooperation with the Rat's King ? And several Pinguins. In the next book, LHK wil go with wing predators, I'm sure. Like Eagles, Hawks or Crows.....
