Yes, usually she gets through her copy edits in a few days. This time it took her a couple of weeks for each round along with lots of whining about how hard her publishers new computerized editing system was. IMHO when she agreed to editing again she didn't realize how much more time it would take, otherwise she wouldn't have scheduled several vacations at the same time as the editing. She really must have believed that she would do the same amount of editing as she did in the past when she was merely getting some desultory line editing.
