I got halfway through writing a comment to the blog about "wow this is completely different from how I understood 'show don't tell' to be." but closed the tab because it just didn't seem worth it. Especially since so many people are so very grateful to be getting this advice.
Also no? I think it's more of a case of LKH being unable to phrase things well since she has that crippling lack of ability to say "penis."
