I kind of wonder if Jade was her fantasy and JJ's going to become a Genevieve clone. It seems Anita really doesn't like taking care of someone, despite what she said, and it now shows.
Hell, even when she "takes care of" traumatized guys, we get a lot of gender essentialism and he ends up taking care of her/dominating her anyway. Just look at Nathaniel the Creep. But with her gender essentialism, she finally got to try out Being The Guy... and found it wasn't at all to her liking. Jade didn't dominate her, have that dark look in her eye that all men have when they stub their toe (or whatnot), or coddle HER emotional issues. Jade just wanted to be taken care of and work on their relationship. A nice, needy-for-damned-good-reasons woman. But a woman.
Anita didn't like that AT ALL. EDIT: *But a woman - AND not an Anitaverse Male, who would plow Anita with a massive dong, accept every conversation about his issues turning into an exposition of her wangst, and be one of her many caretakers.
“No, honestly, because I see having someone use a strap-on as a dominant bondage thing, more than sex, and I don’t bottom to women.” That last was said in a tone that was very final. It was one of the few things I was sure of. Also, WHAT THE FUCK? How is a strap-on a "dominant bondage thing"? O_o Where's the bondage, even?!
...So Anita views dongs as "dominant bondage"? I mean, it's kind of implied. The character's head gets weirder and weirder the more she talks about her views...
