And the thing that really gets me is the total lack of lust on anyone's part. LKH doesn't write non-con fantasy: she writes, and glorifies, rape. With all the hatred, terror, and emotional destruction that goes with it. And then she claims this is a "masculine" view of sex! She frightens me.
