Not to mention, hasn't she come out and said publicly that she doesn't even read in the genre anymore? I personally don't understand how someone who writes in a particular genre can refuse to read the work of his/her peers -- it's like she's saying that the only one worth reading is herself. Which is blatantly not true and we all know it.
It's like she's trying to alienate her fans. (Her intelligent ones anyway...)
