LKH in bold, me in plain. (And for the record, rolling on the floor and expiring with laughter. I repeat her title of this blog. "Remember those sausages?"
"Why, no. To which sausages were you referring?"
*snerk*
*snicker*

Do you guys remember a few days ago when I said, I wished I could tell you everything that had been going on with the business end of things?
I would, if your blogs didn't tend to run together in one giant morass of questionable analogies, illiteracy, and ramblings reminiscent of my last bout with LSD.
I made analogy to making sausage.
Your questionable analogy, ladies and gentlemen.
Well, you don't get to know everything that went into the making of it, but you do get the warm, crispy finished product.
Wait, should it be tight, wet finished product? Now I'm all confuzzled.
You know how we said that the next Anita book, THE HARLEQUIN, would be in October of '07, well, it won't be.
THERE IS A GOD! PRAISE WODEN!
Did I hear a despairing wail? Well, don't despair. THE HARLEQUIN, Anita #15, will be out in June of '07.
*despairing wail*
You're getting the book five months earlier than planned. How cool is that?
Not. Really, really not.
It's more work for me and my editor and everyone who will be working on the book.
Yes, we can see that you and your editor have just been killing yourselves to make sure these books are in the best possible shape. Shining beacons of Perfect English, a tribute to our shared tongue!
We're the ones that have to make the sausage, but for all of you just on the devouring end, it's all good news.
Oh, good Christ. I want NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SAUSAGE-DEVOURING. And what does it say about this woman that she's using this particular metaphor in regards to this heroine and these lunatic fans?
I'm excited about the book coming out earlier, but being run a little ragged helping make it all happen.
Awwwww. Poor widdle LKH. My heart just bweeds for her, yes it does. Who's a poor overworked wealthy author? You is!
