I just think it's very telling that she talks about having dinner with someone called "Richard", and I automatically assume she meant the whiney werewolf in her head.

She has taken pains in previous blogs to assure us all that this Richard is not the same as Richard in the books. Of course, the fact that she feels we might need this pointing out is worrying in itself.

And then she ruins it all by remarking that sometimes she gets them confused herself.

Yeah, that might be it. I mean, God knows we're not intelligent enough to figure out by ourselves that when she refers to Richard, she doesn't actually mean Richard, she means the actual Richard.

Right. Because she could actually mean t' other Richard, but not that Richard because they both aren't the same person. So you have this Richard or that Richard or the Melded!Richard who could be but might not be the same one.
