I just think it's very telling that she talks about having dinner with someone called "Richard", and I automatically assume she meant the whiney werewolf in her head.

But it probably actually is the same Richard, it's just that we aren't supposed to be smart enough to figure out that it is because she claims it's not.

Yeah, that might be it. I mean, God knows we're not intelligent enough to figure out by ourselves that when she refers to Richard, she doesn't actually mean Richard, she means the actual Richard.

Right. Because she could actually mean t' other Richard, but not that Richard because they both aren't the same person. So you have this Richard or that Richard or the Melded!Richard who could be but might not be the same one.
