I was watching SG-1 reruns on Scifi, and something occurred to me when someone was talking about government security. Shouldn't the US government be at least a teensy bit worried about what is going down in St. Louis?

I mean, you've got this sociopathic federal marshal who constantly gets involved in vampire wars that could destabilize entire cities, and who gets amazing supahpowahs the way most people get pimples. And worshiping at her crotch is an ever-expanding alliances of werecreatures and vampires, all pledging their undying loyalty, because Anita is sooooo speshulperfectpowerfulamazingpretty and all that crap. From all across the country, I might add.

From the perspective of the CIA and FBI, one would think that it would sound like an army in the making, and one entirely composed of persons that are faster, stronger and harder to kill than human soldiers. It's not like these creatures are a secret, and their endless political machinations don't seem to be either. So what gives?
