 After lurking around here for awhile I finally decided to join this wonderful community.

 I found the first few books in the library a few years ago and when I came onto the internet I found that all the hilarious batshit insaneness surrounding the books amused me so finding this place (Found it while looking for a possibly mythical anti_anita_blake comm that may have existed before. ) was simply wonderful and enlightening, especially the essays.

 To make this post relevant I'll ask a question. What is the status on Willie the vampire since Blue Moon? Has his character been assassinated or is he one of the lucky ones?

The books after BM aren't available to me and Willie was always a favourite and I actually worried about what happened to him.

I believe, I may be wrong, but I believe that after becoming 'one of hers' because she made him rise in the daytime, that Willow the car salesman Vampire, has been gracefully and gratefully forgotten.

Willie, for the most part, has been spared. I can't really remember the last time he showed up, in person. BO, I think? That was his last appearance of note that I can recall.

yeah, he last showed up in BO. He was officially last mentioned after Anita raised him from the dead during the day in some mystical mumbo-jumbo. And then nothing. He vanished in the middle of the book, never to be seen or heard from again.
