Yesterday I posted as a comment that a friend of my family might have lost her son to the VT tragedy. Last night, we finally heard from her.

Her son is in the hospital. He's alive, and that's all we know.

I live in Virginia. This has affected me in many different ways. I don't personally know anyone who died, but I have a lot of friends who had close friends die.

Virginia is definitely in a state of mourning right now.
