Hiya, not exactly new here--but I've been silent since my first couple of flogs (under the SN belletragedie, rename tokens are so convenient). I ran across something a few minutes ago that I couldn't resist posting here, though. My ex-boyfriend likes to torture me by showing me pics and videos of disturbing things (I swear he's trying to turn me straight with some of this stuff), and he just sent me a link to a video that instantly made me think not of the glorious 80s camp of my childhood...

...but of Jean-Claude. Singing, dancing, and flossing his butt. (Link goes to YouTube. I know. I can't stand YouTube either. But clicking this is worth it.)

C'mon. The skin, the face, the hair, the awful leather clothing, the...I hesitate to call that a codpiece; it's more like a metal g-string worn outside those atrocious leather tights, but...still. Wouldn't it be disturbing and eternally scarring hilarious to find out that LKH patterned JC after the lead singer of Dead or Alive?

I can really believe that LKH took some inspiration from that - it looks just like Jean-Claude (massive thighs excluded) in the comics. Dead or Alive has a video where he's got massive hair and wears an eyepatch, maybe that's where Rhys came from.

Hasn't she said that Jean-Claude as a sort of like Pete Burns - or was that Lestat. It's so easy to confuse the two. *sigh*
