In the US the laws for consent depend on the state.
My problem with Peter and Anita is just that. He is a kid for crying out loud. I know Anita doesn't have any morals but she is the adult. Well, maybe not really BUT she is the one who is near the age of thirty. She should KNOWN better.
Heck, I don't want to read about little boys crushing over Anita since everyone else does already. It is just gross to think Anita would allow Peter to have this crush which will only get worst.
LKH will justify her actions for Peter and Anita is to make him 17 or 18. She will forget the real age for Peter and make him much older.
In the end, Peter is going to turn into another Nate.
